Office chair to TV: Save HaloShort picks for later
Work is done, but the office chair is still by the desk and there isn't much time to browse. Scrolling through dozens of covers can use up the evening break. HaloShort favorites can keep a few titles handy until you're ready to watch.

See a synopsis that interests you? Save it first
HaloShort has local favorites. When you see a story you want to watch but aren't ready to start right now, just mark it, and when you actually have time, pick from a few candidates. Favorites don't need to be as many as possible—if you still remember why you wanted to watch, it's easier to decide next time.
When discovering titles, there's no need to finish the first episode along the way. If there's still stuff to tidy up on the desk, or dinner isn't sorted yet, just keep the candidate saved; whether to start watching can wait until things settle down. That way, every short gap doesn't mean scrolling through the same batch of covers again.
Sit back in front of the TV and make just one small decision
When actually watching, pick one from a small set of candidates and check the subtitles and actual episode length for that episode. HaloShort lets you select episodes, pause, and turn off autoplay. If tonight you only want to watch the beginning, stopping midway is perfectly fine—no need to watch extra episodes just to make your favorites list look like it has "progress."
Local favorites stay on the device running the app. If the workspace and bedroom are two separate TVs, marks won't automatically carry over; noting down the full title yourself makes it easier to find again after switching devices. Also, don't assume a watchlist on your computer has synced to the app as favorites.
If you have a compatible Android TV or box at home, search for HaloShort in the Emotn store and check installation requirements for your specific system. Once the office chair and desk are back in their places, the TV holds a few stories you picked yourself—sit down and you can decide which one to start tonight.
