A listed seating company that still runs its own floor

Buyers usually find us after a supplier has let them down — on volume, or on the paperwork that customs actually checks. Being publicly listed means our numbers are filed every year and there is no mystery about who you are buying from. That matters when you are wiring a deposit to a factory you have never visited.

But the listing is not the story. The story is that we started as an ergonomics company in Anji, the "chair town" where the supply chain for mesh, foam, gas lifts and bases sits within a short drive — and we still develop the parts that decide whether a chair is actually comfortable. UE was a lead drafter of China's national office-chair standard and carries the National Green Factory designation.

What we actually do well

• Executive and health seating — high-back chairs, plus massage and health chairs from the same group.
• Standing desks and soft seating — to round out a workstation order in one container.
• OEM & ODM at scale — private-label and own-design programmes for importers, brands and contract buyers.

Five bases, two of them overseas

UE runs production across five smart-manufacturing bases. Two are outside China — Romania, which is in production, and Vietnam, which is ramping up. For an EU or North-American buyer that can mean a non-China country of origin without switching to an unknown factory. We'll talk through which base fits your order and where the real lead-time and duty differences land.

Where we are honest about limits

We are a seating specialist. If you need something far outside chairs and desks, we will say so rather than take an order we'd run badly. The fastest way to a useful answer is a short, specific brief — models, quantities, market — and we'll come back with what we'd genuinely recommend.
